OCRRA’s Rock Cut Road Drop-Off Site will accept up to 25 non-PCB ballasts; they must be separated from other items.
If you are a resident with a few non-PCB ballasts (they are typically labeled as such), you can also put them in your curbside trash, but ONLY if they are NON-PCB containing.
If ballasts are believed to contain PCBs, or if it is unknown whether they contain PCBs, contact the Syracuse branch of Miller Environmental Group at (315) 451-6666.
