Gather your e-waste for the next drop-off event in Syracuse, hosted by Assemblyman William Magnarelli’s office. New York State requires consumers to properly manage certain electronics that do not belong in curbside trash.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. – noon, at Destiny USA (enter off Solar Street) in Syracuse. Participants must register in advance. Note – this event will not accept paint, bulbs, batteries and items containing freon.
Step 1: Review the list of acceptable materials.
Step 2: Register and pick a drop-off time. Click submit. Don’t see an email confirmation? Check junk mail.
Step 3: Drop off acceptable items during your scheduled time on May 18, 2024.
While OCRRA is happy to share useful information for our community, the agency is not organizing or hosting this collection event. Questions should be directed to Assembly Magnarelli’s office or their partner for this event, Sunnking.
If you cannot participate in the Assemblyman’s event, check out OCRRA’s electronics management page for year-round options. Carefully review the notes listed for each option to be sure they accept the items you need to drop off. Guidelines vary at each location and it is important to call ahead if you need more information.
